My Review:
I've had a hard time
reviewing this one. I can't seem to gather my thoughts about it. Not in a bad
way, not at all. This is one of my favorite books. I feel like I have so many
things to praise, but if you haven't read it you won't understand why I'm
giving it praise! Do yourself a favor. Go read this. Just do it. Go buy it, it
is worth every penny. It's a pretty thick book so it’s totally worth every cent
and it also because it has so much depth. This book kept me on my toes. I fell
in love with Evie and her world. I became caught up in the danger that
descended upon New York in the twenties. I was astounded by the sheer amount of
rich details Libba Bray added to this book that truly made it come to life for
me (the amount of time that had to have gone into researching was not wasted).
The only thing bad about this book was that it ended, luckily it’s a series. I
look forward to reading a lot more about the world Evie lives in.
