Summary (goodreads.com): To save her mother's life, Clary must travel to the City of Glass, the ancestral home of the Shadowhunters -- never mind that entering the city without permission is against the Law, and breaking the Law could mean death. To make things worse, she learns that Jace does not want her there, and Simon has been thrown in prison by the Shadowhunters, who are deeply suspicious of a vampire who can withstand sunlight.

As Clary uncovers more about her family's past, she finds an ally in mysterious Shadow-hunter Sebastian. With Valentine mustering the full force of his power to destroy all Shadow-hunters forever, their only chance to defeat him is to fight alongside their eternal enemies. But can Downworlders and Shadowhunters put aside their hatred to work together? While Jace realizes exactly how much he's willing to risk for Clary, can she harness her new found powers to help save the Glass City -- whatever the cost?

My Review:
Holy Wow! What a roller coaster of emotions this book was! Once I picked it up I couldn't put it down. It took me a couple years to actually start reading it because I didn’t want the series to end! Then Cassandra Clare announced that there would be three more books in TMI series so I finally felt like I could read CoG and not be sad that it was ending. I loved this book and I feel if this was the end I would have been okay with it. I loved that we got out of NYC for this book and went to Alicante. Even with everything bad that was happening there it was so magical and one of a kind! If you liked the first two books you will love this one as well. This is a short review, but I find that’s better than giving something away! Trust me, you will not be sorry; this book is great!

This is one of my favorite series. I still haven't read City of Fallen Angels because I'm afraid of what she will do to Jace and Clary and if you know no spoilers. LOL

I love this series too! I have read CoFA but because I'm always afraid of accidentally posting spoilers I'm not going to review it.
