4) I was nominated for this award on my 19th birthday (July 1st).

5) The late Princess Diana of Wales and I share the same Birthday!

6) I went to the Teen Book Festival in Rochester in May and I still haven’t posted about it (but I will soon I promise), and

Thank you so much for the award! That's awesome that you went to TBF! I've been every year for the past three years and it's always SO much fun! What panels did you attend? Love the blog! Happy Reading :-).

@the Book Girl:

You went to TBF?! That's so awesome! Maybe next year we can meet up there. This was my first year I didn't know about it before! I went to Ally Carter's panel, Rachel Hawkins and Shannon Delany's panel, and Melissa De La Cruz and Elizabeth Scott's Panel. Which one's did you go to?

Yeah, I live like an hour away from Rochester, so it's kind of an end of semester/beginning of summer celebration to look forward to :-p. We should totally meet up next year!

I saw Elizabeth and Melissa, Julie Halpern, Melissa Kantor, and Garret Freymann-Weyr, and Eric Luper and Patrick Jones :-). I loved all of them but Julie Halpern stuck out in my mind as especially awesome--that panel was probably the most fun. Have you read her latest book, Don't Stop Now? It was really great.

I live about an hour outside of Rochester, too, in Buffalo!

I've only read Into the Wild Nerd Yonder by Julie and it was so good. I'm going to have to look up her other ones!

Did you see that they've posted some of the authors that will be there next year already?

Awesome! And I did see that :-D. Laurie and Melissa are awesome, but I've been waiting to see Beth for SO long. Jessica's Guide is one of my favorite go-to books and I was SO disappointed when she had to defer 'til next year :-/.
